Station Casinos

The immediate impact of launching JobFlash at Station Casinos, was the significant improvement in the quality of applicants that my team has experienced across all locations.

In the five months since JobFlash was launched, Station Casinos has received resumes from approximately 37,000 candidates; more than 51 percent were submitted via phone, while 49 percent applied online. The JobFlash system automatically scheduled appointments with some 13,000 qualified applicants for current positions at Station Casinos.

Station Casinos state that they now save time by interviewing only qualified candidates for our current open positions, while building a unified interactive resume bank of all interested candidates.

The Venetian

The Venetian's JobFlash hotline received over 25,000 phone calls (including returning callers checking their JobMail Box) in the first three months. JobFlash collected 7526 pre-qualified resumes and automatically scheduled over 3100 interviews with the candidates frequently being interviewed within 48 hours.

When a fully qualified candidate calls for an open position, an appointment is scheduled right on the first call. Nearly 1500 automated interviews were set up this way in the first three months of JobFlash. During this period, the system also scheduled another 1600 interviews via outbound calls to candidates who were selected by employment staff for an interview. The real-time scheduling of interviews for qualified candidates has enabled the Employment Center to interview applicants for current openings within days from when they call, filling open positions at an accelerated rate with the highest qualified candidates.

1st Alarm

Cal and Craig agreed to at least try a new approach, and began a 30-day trial of the JobFlash system, starting with their San Jose branch. It began paying immediate benefits by offloading repetitive tasks and making candidate pre-screening more effective and consistent. For one, the system is “Self-Service” for the administrative managers, allowing them to make their own job postings and review the resumes they received. All tasks can be expedited from any web browser, even some managers find it convenient to review candidates in the evening from the convenience of their home. Cal, Craig and their management team gained valuable new reports about the number of resumes, qualified candidates, interviews and hires across the various divisions and offices.

The results so far demonstrate an annual savings of at least $474,000! Since First Alarm pays only $30,000 per year for the JobFlash service, they are enjoying better than a 15x return on their dollar, for an ROI of 1500%.
