Steve Adelman
Steve Adelman was most recently
vice president of Corporate Development at Novell.
He joined Novell in 1998 was responsible for all of
the company's initiatives with its strategic partners.
He also oversaw the company's acquisitions and investments,
including the Novell Internet Equity Fund.
Prior to joining Novell, he served as an independent
consultant to a wide variety of companies doing business
on the Internet. Previously, he was president of GTS,
a streaming media startup, and was executive vice
president for Reuters NewMedia, with responsibility
for investments and acquisitions. Prior to that, he
served as a strategy consultant with Gemini Consulting
and Booz Allen & Hamilton and as chief operating
officer for Trademark Research Corporation, a subsidiary
of Commerce Clearing House, a leader in accounting
and legal publishing. He started his business career
at AT&T Bell Laboratories.
Adelman holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science
from Columbia University and a master of business
administration degree from the Wharton School, University
of Pennsylvania. He also served as a non-commissioned
officer in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Ankesh Kumar
President and CEO, AppMail
Ankesh was the cofounder of Personic
Software, Inc. Personic was considered by many to
be the leader in the applicant tracking space, with
over 60,000 users worldwide and customers like Wal-Mart,
Cnet and Accenture. Ankesh as CEO took the company
from conception to $20m in revenue and left in April
2000. Prior to Personic, he founded ATsystems, an
IT consulting firm based in the SF bay area. As CEO,
Ankesh took that company from conception to $25 million
in 4 years. It was sold it to SystemOne Technical,
which is now a division of TMP worldwide.
Robert Largen
Principal, The Symbiotic Group
Robert Largen is a seasoned entrepreneur
and marketing executive having been a partner at Bustin
and Company and Chief Strategic Marketing Officer
for Tracy-Locke, DDB Dallas and D'Arcy McManus &
Masius Worldwide.
Kathy Lane
Kathy Lane co-founded WorkCard,
a collaborative e-procurement ASP platform managing
the purchase and payment of the contingent workforce.
In 2002, Adecco, the worlds' largest staffing vendor,
acquired the Company. Prior to that, she has held
numerous executive positions within the software industry
and created Dataquest's PC Software Services division.
Randy Whiting

Ventures
Randy Whiting founded Brownstone
Ventures in 1999 to provide a vehicle to work with
entrepreneurs and investors to develop exciting new
business concepts. Since its founding, Brownstone
has created a number of new businesses, worked with
over 20 exciting early start-up ventures and consulted
with some of the leading innovators in the digital
economy.
Randy was the President and CEO
of CommerceNet, a pioneering research and development
consortium that lead development of many currently
used eCommerce technologies and business models. He
helped found the organization in 1994 while he was
director on Internet marketing anc commerce services
for Hewlett-Packard. He was named to CommerceNet's
board in 1995 and then went to become president and
CEO in 1996. During his four years as President and
CEO of CommerceNet, he helped set the industry agenda
for interoperable eCommerce and the development of
eCommerce trading communities. He worked with leading
eCommerce companies such as CommerceOne, VISA, Nokia,
NTT, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco and Netscape on establishing
new models for doing business over the Internet.
